I want to give back

4Up until recently I have actively provided ongoing support to a local community initiative called Real Hope. Real Hope gets alongside people with a heart to help. Real Hope exists to provides opportunities for ordinary everyday people in partnering together to contribute to those in the local community who are struggling with basic everyday needs and are marginalised through isolation, poverty, disability and sickness. My business provides both financial and active support. I have provided funding for various projects including school stationary packs for students from low income families of Pasadena High School and funding for a mobile shower truck that operates across Adelaide in partnership alongside local charities. I have also actively participated in some of the events organised by Real Hope including free haircuts for homeless. 

As of this year I am working on developing my own community based initiative called ‘Sofie’s Choice’ focusing on needs I’ve identified in my local community being domestic violence support for both men and women, actively involving elderly in the community, bushfire volunteer support and awareness of sustainable organic and ethical food produce. This initiative is a work in progress for 2024.
